A place to start over, and people to start with.
Square One works with people coming home. We’re based in Little Rock and serve Central Arkansas. When you come to us, you get a case manager, a Credible Messenger mentor who’s walked this road, help finding housing, and a path to work through The Journey Man.
Our mission
We help people get access to jobs, housing, health care, education, and transportation. Coming home is hard enough. Nobody should have to figure it out alone or start over every time they meet someone new.
Our approach
It starts with one person and one plan. Every member gets a case manager who builds a single plan across housing, recovery, education, training, work, and health, and who stays with them from intake to independence. That work can start before release day through Behind the Wall. Second Square, our member app, keeps your goals, appointments, and case manager in one place. No bouncing between offices and no starting over.
Who we serve
We serve people coming home after time inside, and the families who love them. We also work with young people through Updraft so they can find a different path earlier, and with people who want to build their own business through SQ1 Entrepreneurs. If you or someone you love needs a starting point, there’s no wrong door.
